Long time no write and such. I have been SO busy lately that it's insane. I know I haven't made a lot of cosplay posts as of late, but I just feel that LJ is far too time consuming to do so these days. Because of this, I'll be doing most of my updating on Tumblr. I've had an account for a while, I've just never really used it until the end of last year. The thing is Tumblr is much more accessible to me because I can update from my phone. It's still in the construction phase, but you can get the general idea.

A good number of you guys seemed interested in the Horror themed photoshoot in October. For those of you that don't know, but might be interested we would basically be meeting up to take location photos of various horror genre costumes. This could include, anime, movies, video games etc. I plan on taking Sheva from Resident Evil 5, but you guys don't have to limit the ideas to RE games so be creative!

Anyway, I think now would be a good time to choose a weekend so everyone has plenty of prep time. I was thinking of choosing the second or third weekend in October. I'm not sure which day is best for everyone so I'll post a poll so you can vote. You don't *have* to answer the costume question, but sometimes it can be fun to see what others are bringing!

 I haven't done a location shoot in a very long time and I think it would be so much fun! Btw you should still join in even if you don't have a costume that fits the theme. It would still be a great opportunity for you to get some nice photos of your costume. ^_^

Due to bad weather I think it's in everyone's best interest to reschedule the shoot. But there is hope yet! reannaremick  and I are still going to hang out and do stuff at Little 5 Points today if anyone else wants to join us. Even though we got rained out we can still have some fun and maybe make plans for the future shoot. We're meeting around 2:00pm at Junkman's Daughter if you'd like to join us. Hopefully we'll see some of you guys there!

There *should* be a building to change if you're bringing multiple costumes. I'll double check when I arrive in the morning just to be sure. If you plan on attending, please respond to this post (or text me), if possible. It can be hard to find people at this site, and I don't want anyone to get lost, so this way we can account for everyone before heading out to take photos.

Hey everyone!

Looks like the photoshoot is on for Sunday this weekend (July 18)!  Anyone is welcome to come along, the more the merrier! :D

I was thinking that we should meet up around 11am, that way everyone has time to get prepped and make the drive. There's not an official photographer (unless you guys know of someone that's available or want to volunteer lol), but I will be bringing my own camera to take photos of everyone. I'll try to get them posted asap after the shoot. ^_^

I think we should be able to get everything done by 3pm, unless you all want to stay later. Afterwards if you guys want to grab some food before heading out, we can do that too.

FYI I checked the weather report and there is a chance of rain, but I think we'll be fine. I would suggest however bringing along an umbrella just in case. I'll have a couple of extras if you need to borrow one.
Also, I'll have my cell on me so you can contact me when you get there. If you don't already have my number, message me and I'll send it to you.

I'm thinking of organizing a photoshoot at Roswell Mill next weekend (July 17 or 18). I've got a couple of new costumes I want to get some photos of and the location is ideal for the costumes I'm bringing. It's been a long time since I've gone on a location shoot and I miss it because I met so many cool people and it was always a lot of fun. ^_^

I was wondering if anyone else was interested in going. It wouldn't be themed, so you could bring whatever you like or just come along to hang out and such. I can give you guys more details once I get a head count. Comment back or message me if you're interested!

I'm going to attempt to complete an entire costume in 24 hours! I just feel like it would be a fun challenge for myself. So here's what I'm making...



Yeah I know I was going to make the Fire Nation version (and I still am), but I found the perfect fabric for this one while in the store today so I'm switching it up. I'm starting at 11:00pm and will be posting progress pics on Twitter tonight, so if you want to follow along, feel free to add me. Otherwise, I'll post pics after the con this weekend.

OMG you guys! I had sooo much fun at this concert last weekend with reannaremick , Jei, Yoko, and friends. I already liked the Wonder Girls but I'm an even bigger fan now that I've seen them live. They were so cute too! Of course they performed their own songs, but each of them did individual songs of American stuff like Lil' Mama, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, etc. They even did a PCD Cover which was pretty good.

2PM performed as well and I was so happy that they sang two of my favorite songs: Again and Again & Heartbeat. It's funny that most of the people were more excited about their performance than the Wonder Girls. I think they both did an excellent job though.

I recorded several videos of the concert and uploaded them to YouTube. I'm not going to spam them here because there quite a few and I still have more. If you want to look at them though, you can see them on my YouTube Channel.

In other news, I'm working on a vlog from AZ. I'm waiting to get the software this weekend so I can do some editing, and hopefully I can get the video posted within a few days. I'm excited since this will be my first one. More info about that when I post the video!

This weekend, aleathiaburns and I will be going to SciFi Summer Con on Saturday. She has a panel so I'll probably be helping her with that. Hopefully we'll get to meet up with twinklebat  if she goes. :)

Next weekend, I'll be traveling to Miami for Florida Supercon where I'll be hosting two panels:

Ethnic Beauty: Tips and Tricks for Cosplay - Basically a makeup panel from another perspective.
World of Pop - J-Pop and K-Pop panel

I'm hoping that I can complete the cosplay I have in progress for the con. I really want to enter it in the contest! It's exciting because I've gotten to try some new techniques with this one. I think I'm just excited about the con in general because the guest list is amazing and it will be a new convention for me.  ^_^

Anyway, I think I've rambled enough for now.

So I know it's been spammed everywhere within the past few hours but, they released the trailer for Gears of War 3! I can't even tell you how much I'm fangirling right now!
